The Football Association is considering holding the Egypt Cup without the internationals after it was postponed

The committee that manages the Football Association is studying the holding of the remaining Egypt Cup matches during the international breaks for the national team, provided that the matches are held without the international players.

The committee that manages the Football Association approved the perceptions of Carlos Queiroz, coach of the national team, regarding providing the opportunity for all clubs to participate locally before the national team gathers during the international break next November.

Accordingly, the League competition for the first division will start immediately after the end of the October pause, which witnesses the two matches of Egypt with Libya in the World Cup qualifiers, and the following matches for the round of the two African Club Championships, while the Egyptian Federation decided to postpone the Egypt Cup matches after the completion of the two round of 16 matches scheduled to be held today. Tomorrow, the dates of the matches for the next rounds of the tournament will be determined at a later time.

This comes to provide an opportunity for the First Division Clubs Association to start the competition on October 25 and 26, to hold three rounds of the league competition until November 5, which will positively affect all players and also provide the opportunity for the coach of the national team to expand the selection base for players who will be included in the national team
