The Egyptian futsal team will face Thailand in the semi-finals tomorrow

The Egyptian futsal team qualified for the semi-finals to face Thailand tomorrow in the international tournament hosted by Thailand, as part of preparations for the World Cup in Lithuania, to be held next September.

The national futsal team qualified for the semi-finals of the Thailand International Championship after drawing with Iran today 2-2 in preparation for the World Cup, next September to be held in Lithuania. The Egyptian national futsal team lost to Lithuania 4/2 in the championship Thailand International, in preparation for the World Cup, beat Tajikistan 1-0 in its first match in the Thai Championship, and the only goal of the match was scored by Mustafa Eid.

It is noteworthy that the national futsal team is preparing under the leadership of its coach, Jihad Arafa, to participate in the World Cup to be held this year in Lithuania, and the delegation of the national team headed by Walid Al-Attar, Executive Director of the Egyptian Football Association, went to Thailand last Wednesday and the tournament will continue until July 30.

Hisham Saleh, the former coach of the Egyptian futsal team, submitted an official resignation from coaching the team, and refused to complete the next period in protest against administrative problems, specifically before the Arab championship hosted by Egypt, and freezing the team before the tournament for more than 6 months.
