Putin to Macron: Russia is ready to resume dialogue with the European Union

Russian President Vladimir Putin told his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron that Moscow is ready to resume a comprehensive dialogue with the European Union, the press service of the Russian presidency (Kremlin) announced on Friday.


The Kremlin explained that the two sides agreed - during a telephone conversation - that building constructive and predictable relations between Russia and the European Union and a return to a normal dialogue based on trust, will facilitate the solution of problems such as cybersecurity, the fight against international terrorism, health care, climate and the settlement of regional disputes, according to the news agency.
