The UN envoy in Libya calls for the approval of the constitutional basis for the elections

 The Special Envoy of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Jan Kubis, and representatives of five countries in Libya urged the Libyan actors, including members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, to endorse the constitutional basis for the elections scheduled for the end of this year, as stipulated in the roadmap.

The United Nations mission said in a statement carried by the Libyan "Al-Wasat" portal, that Kubis held consultations with representatives of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States (the 3 + 2 group), after phone conversations he held a few days ago with other international partners, including Russia and Morocco.
