The Giza Chamber of Commerce holds a youth employment forum with the participation of October and Abu Rawash companies


The Giza Chamber of Commerce announced a proposal to organize an employment and employment forum in cooperation with the Youth Welfare and Employment Authority in Giza Governorate, when Mohamed Imbabi, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, received the Chairman of the Executive Authority of the Youth Welfare and Employment Authority in Giza Governorate, Azza Wahdan, in the presence of Adel Razeen, Secretary General of the Chamber.


Mohamed Imbabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Giza Chamber of Commerce, said that the meeting dealt with presenting proposals for opportunities for youth employment within the governorate and how to provide young people with job opportunities during the coming period, noting that it was agreed to organize an employment forum with the participation of companies and factories in the October and Abu Rosh regions, given what they include From many institutions in need of a trained workforce, after presenting the proposals to the members of the Board of Directors and obtaining the approval of the crisis in the next meeting session.


Imbabi added that the Chamber will communicate with various companies in order to participate in the forum, which is proposed to be organized in partnership with the Youth Welfare and Employment Authority in Giza Governorate.


For her part, Azza Wahdan, head of the Youth Employment Authority in Giza, confirmed that the agency always seeks to cooperate with various bodies in order to exploit the human element and provide various opportunities for employment, praising the cooperation with the Giza Chamber of Commerce and its role in serving companies and youth.


It is worth mentioning that the Chairman of the Board of Directors met with Dr. Amr Bosaila, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education, and Hamdi El-Sayed, Director General of Technical Education in Giza Governorate to agree on a mechanism of cooperation between the Chamber and the Technical Education Department at the Ministry of Education and discuss the establishment of a center for training and qualifying technical workers in the governorate to serve companies and factories in the governorate. The meeting also dealt with the exchange of opinions and ideas to reach an appropriate formula to benefit from the capabilities of the Chamber of Commerce to support and develop technical education.
