An agreement between Washington and Seoul on concrete measures if North Korea agrees to dialogue

South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported that Seoul and Washington agreed that "concrete measures" should be ready in case North Korea accepts the US offer of dialogue.

The agency quoted an unnamed South Korean source as saying that the two sides agreed on this view during a series of meetings between the US envoy to North Korea, Sung Kim, his deputy, Jong-bak, and South Korean officials earlier this week.

However, the source did not provide any details about the nature of these "concrete measures." He said, "There have been many discussions about the joint understanding between the United States and South Korea regarding the necessity of establishing concrete joint measures and starting them immediately in the event of a response from North Korea."
