A member of the Sudanese Sovereign Council affirms support for efforts to achieve development in South Darfur

 Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, affirmed the transitional government's support for the efforts of the government of South Darfur state, to achieve development and security stability in the state.

During his meeting in Khartoum with the governor of South Darfur, Musa Mahdi Ishaq, Idris was briefed on the overall situation in the state, and the progress of development projects and services.

The Wali of South Darfur said, in a press statement, that "the meeting dealt with the state's efforts to rehabilitate the infrastructure and pave the roads," explaining that a member of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council informed him that, during his recent visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he proposed a number of projects in the state that would benefit it, noting To the great potential of South Darfur, which requires study and present it to investors for implementation.
