The Federation of Egyptian Youth Centers begins preparing for the second youth summit in cooperation with UNESCO


Ahmed El-Deeb, a member of the Board of Directors of the General Union of Egyptian Youth Centers, confirmed that preparations are underway for the launch of the second youth summit of the Youth Center in the border governorates, which will be held under the title "Entrepreneurship and National Security", in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports after the success of the first youth summit that was held. Under his auspices and support last October, in cooperation with UNESCO.

 

This came during the speech delivered on behalf of the President of the Federation Dr. Majed Al-Azazi during the activities of reviewing the achievements of the Federation of Specific Sports and Youth Federations during the year, at the Olympic Center in Maadi, in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mahmoud Hussein, Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee in the House of Representatives, and Dr. Kamal Darwish, Head of the Physical Education Sector at the Supreme Council of Universities, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Amr Haddad, Assistant Minister for Sports Development, and a number of leaders of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

 

Ahmed El-Deeb added that the General Union of Egyptian Youth Centers is a qualitative youth union under the darkness of Law 218 of 2017, which was announced by the Minister of Youth and Sports Resolution No. 40 of 2020 after merging the Union of Cities Youth Centers and Village Youth Centers, indicating that the Union is working to implement youth activities in light of the strategy The general state of the state represented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and its central administration of youth centers and youth organizations.

 

He explained that the Union is currently implementing the Ramadan competition through its official page on the social networking site Facebook. The number of competition followers has reached nearly one million people so far.

 

Al-Deeb explained that the General Union of Egyptian Youth Centers was the first youth union to implement its first activity in the Sports City in the Administrative Capital with the participation of 500 young men and women representing 13 governorates in various fields, and that the Minister of Youth and Sports was keen on attending the participation of young people in deranged activities.
