The Arab Alliance: Thwarting an "imminent" Houthi attack by a booby-trapped boat in the southern Red Sea

The Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced on Monday that it had thwarted an "imminent" Houthi attack by a booby-trapped boat in the southern Red Sea.

The Arab coalition - according to the Saudi (Al-Akhbariya) channel - indicated that the Houthi militia continues to threaten maritime shipping lines and global trade, "stressing that the Houthi militia takes the (Stockholm) Agreement as an umbrella to launch hostile attacks from Hodeidah Governorate.

It is noteworthy that the coalition and the Yemeni government had repeatedly stressed that the Houthi violations pose a threat to international navigation.
