An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hits the Driouch region in Morocco

The Moroccan Institute of Geophysics announced the registration of an earthquake, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, today, Friday, in the "Driouch" region.


The institute's Morocco Monitoring and Seismic Warning Network stated - in a statement - that the quake, whose epicenter was located in the Driouch region, occurred at 12, 10 minutes and 54 seconds in the afternoon local time.


The statement added that the quake was recorded at a depth of 15 km, at the confluence of 35,616 degrees north latitude and 3,603 degrees west longitude.
