Jordan condemns the restrictions on the Palestinians in East Jerusalem

 The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned the incitement and provocations carried out by the Israelis last night in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem.


The ministry’s spokesperson, Ambassador Dhaifallah Al-Fayez, said that the Israeli authorities bear full responsibility for allowing these groups to reach the Old City, chanting racist slogans and chanting, and attacking Jerusalemites.


Al-Fayez called on the Israeli authorities to abide by their obligations in accordance with international law and international humanitarian law, and to desist from anything that might harm or restrict the residents of the Old City.


Al-Fayez also condemned the restrictions imposed by the Israeli authorities on the free access of worshipers to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif to perform the Friday prayers, and demanded that all of them be removed, and not to restrict the worshipers.
